Before you ask
Do I need a visa, and will you help?
Most travellers need a tourist visa or an e-visa, depending on nationality. Once you confirm a tour we send the official invitation letter the same day and a step-by-step guide to the application. Allow three to four weeks for a standard visa and about a week for an e-visa.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer or card link once you have approved the plan. We ask for 30% to hold the dates and the rest two weeks before the tour. For day tours we usually take the full amount on the day.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel seven or more days before the tour for a full refund. Between two and six days before we refund half. Inside 48 hours we cannot refund, but we will always try to move your dates instead.
Which languages do you guide in?
English on every tour. German, Spanish and Mandarin on request for Moscow and St Petersburg.
Can I book a private tour?
Yes. Every tour can run privately for your group only. Prices start at about 1.6 times the per-person rate for two people and come down from there.
What happens if the weather is bad?
City tours go ahead with umbrellas and a few more indoor stops. Baikal and the Golden Ring have weather-dependent parts, and your guide swaps them for alternatives on the day rather than cancel.
